Eastover is a student-centered learning community that values the unique potential of each child by setting high expectations, while respecting the individual needs and abilities of our diverse student population.
Former United States Secretary of Education Arne Duncan recognized Eastover Elementary School as a 2015 U.S. Department of Education Exemplary High Performing National Blue Ribbon School.
We utilize inquiry-based instructional practices that build on children's natural curiosity and encourage students to use critical thinking skills, reflect on their learning and compassionately develop solutions for real-world problems.
We are thrilled to introduce Camper, the Eastover Therapy Day. His presence has been a constant source of joy and positivity, enriching the school community ever since he became a part of the school family in May 2023. A school therapy dog is a specially trained and certified dog that is brought into a school environment to provide emotional support, comfort, and various therapeutic benefits to students, teachers, and staff.
