STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK is fast approaching and we have a team of volunteers working to plan a week full of events to show our gratitude for all of our amazing staff members. Ray's Ice Cream FUNdraiser  Mark Your Calendar!  We are having a fundraiser day/evening at Ray's Ice Cream in Royal Oak on Tuesday, April 29.  There will be guest scoopers from our amazing Eastover Staff!  We hope you can join us at this FUNdraiser at Ray's Ice Cream! 

 

Kindergarten Orientation is on Friday, May 9 and the PTO is looking for a few volunteers to help welcome our future Eagles!  We need help from 9-10am setting up the outside check-in tables, checking in the families, and then cleaning up.  Please click here if you can help!

1st Day School Supplies -You might laugh, but summer will be upon us shortly, and then we will be tasked with searching for all the suggested school supplies for the fall.  What if I told you that our administration and PTO wanted to take something off your plate?  We've reviewed and updated all the suggested school supply lists for each grade and made the shopping as simple as it could possibly get!  Please see our site for full details

Eastover PTO Positions: The PTO is looking for 2 more SOARing Eagle Parents to fill positions next year. We are currently looking for a Book Worms Committee chair (1 year) and co-Treasurer (2 years).  

• The Book Worms Committee Chair is the PTO's connection to the Media Center and Mrs. Livingston.  In this role you will help plan and oversee Pumpkin Patch Night, will coordinate with Mrs. Livingston on any One District One Book activities, Author Visits and the Book Fair, and make sure the Yearbook and Publishing Center activities are on track.  
• The co-Treasurer will, along with with their counterpart, have custody of all funds of the PTO; collect all dues and receive all monies of the organization; keep an accurate record of receipts and disbursements of the PTO; serve on the Budget Committee; and prepare a report for each PTO meeting. 

North Hills PTO: The North Hills Middle School PTO is in the planning phase for next school year's PTO Board. We are looking for any new parents interested in being involved! This is a great way to meet fellow NHMS parents & be in the know of the school year's events.

We have the following executive board positions to fill for 2025/2026 School Year:

• President-Elect
• Treasurer- Elect
• Corresponding Secretary
• Recording Secretary

We also have the following committee leads to fill for 2025/2026 School Year:

• Bake Sale Lead
• 6th Grade Activity Afternoon Lead
• 7th and 8th Grade Game and Groove Night Lead

• Make a Difference Day Lead

• We are looking for your photos for the Eastover Yearbook!!  If you have any that you'd like to share, it's never been easier! Upload your photos to the Lifetouch Community upload site.  Keep in mind, we are looking for photos from class parties, school events and spirit days!  When uploading please make sure they are labeled with the correct teacher and event! For example a tag could be putt putt, or pics from a class party would be labeled with the teacher name.  If you have any questions or would rather email pictures please send to eastoveryearbook@gmail.com
